Call For Case Studies: Localization and integration of MHPSS in emergencies
The Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Collaborative, Peace of Mind Foundation, Global Mental Health Action Network, UNICEF, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Network, Terre des hommes, Mental Health Innovation Network (MHIN) and Save the Children Nederland are seeking short case studies from implementers, local organisations, donors, and partnerships with real-world experience of localising and/or integrating Mental Health Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in emergency and humanitarian settings.
The case studies will contribute to developing a donor brief with practical recommendations on how to prioritize and allocate funding for MHPSS in emergencies, with a focus on localization and integration.
What we’re looking for?
We want to hear what worked, the trade-offs you faced, and what you learned. Examples could include:
• How your organization adapted programming when funding was cut
• How a local-first partnership model was set up and sustained
• How MHPSS was embedded into health, education, or protection services
• What funding arrangements made localization or integration possible
Selection and acknowledgement
We aim to feature up to 4 case studies in the final brief. Submissions will be assessed against our inclusion criteria, and selected case studies will be included with full acknowledgement of contributing organizations.
Deadline: 15 March 2026
