For the fifth year, Geneva Science Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA) is convening its Geneva Science Diplomacy Week, a forum that bring together the leaders of tomorrow from science, diplomacy, international organizations, and the public and private sectors to explore emerging scientific breakthroughs and turn them into collective action for the benefit of all.



For the fifth year, Geneva Science Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA) is convening its Geneva Science Diplomacy Week, a forum that bring together the leaders of tomorrow from science, diplomacy, international organizations, and the public and private sectors to explore emerging scientific breakthroughs and turn them into collective action for the benefit of all.

This five-day event is taking place from 22–26 June 2026. Applications are now open until 20 February 2026. Scholarships to applicants from low-and middle-income countries are available.
Throughout 5 days, they will engage in the GESDA Anticipatory Leadership methodology to see the future of science, anticipate impact on people, society and planet, co-create solutions with peers from all around the world, gain the knowledge, tools, and networks to bridge the gap between anticipation and action and mobilise collective action and access GESDA’s vibrant global alumni community of practice.

Established in 2022, this immersive programme equips decision-makers in science, diplomacy and business with the anticipatory knowledge, tools, and networks to navigate the intersection of science, diplomacy, and global governance. This annual event provides a platform for exploring how scientific breakthroughs can be anticipated and leveraged for the benefit of society in a world accelerated by science and technology.
