According to Turkey Today, the Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman Brig. Gen. Hossein Mohebbi told the semi-official Tasnim News Agency on Saturday that the strikes were conducted between July 8 and July 22 against aircraft stationed at U.S. military bases in the region.

Mohebbi said the destroyed equipment included 17 reconnaissance and operational drones, eight of which he described as brand-new.

The claimed losses also included an F-15 fighter jet inside a hardened shelter, a P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, a C-17 military transport plane and eight aerial refueling aircraft.

Iran did not specify the locations of the bases where the alleged attacks took place. And Washington had not immediately responded to the claim.
