The General was a vocal critic of Western interference. As recently as February 2026, following a wave of intense domestic protests across Iran, Khademi publicly accused U.S. President Donald Trump of orchestrating the civil unrest.

In his final briefings, Khademi alleged that over ten foreign nationals—including individuals with direct ties to Israeli intelligence—had been embedded within the country to escalate the violence and destabilize the government.
