AU, UN Set to Convene 10th Annual Conference for ‘Stronger Africa’
The African Union and the United Nations will convene the 10th AU-UN Annual Conference tomorrow, May 13, 2026, to bolster strategic cooperation across the continent.
The high-level summit, held at the AU Headquarters and virtually, aims to advance critical efforts regarding peace, security, governance, and human rights.
Leadership from both organizations will focus on driving sustainable development through the lens of "A stronger partnership for a stronger Africa."
The discussions are designed to align international and continental priorities, specifically focusing on the implementation of Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Agenda.
By coordinating these frameworks, the two bodies seek to accelerate progress on shared goals for Africa’s growth and stability.
