U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that military operations to escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz have been temporarily stopped.


Writing on his platform, Truth Social, on Tuesday, May 5, Trump said this decision was made because Pakistan and other U.S. Stops Military Escorts in Strait of Hormuz countries asked for it.

He also mentioned that there has been good progress toward reaching a full agreement between the United States and Iranian representatives.

However, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the U.S. continues to put pressure on them, thinking they will give in to its demands, but he insisted that this will not happen.
