771 Indangamirwa Youth Visit Kiziguro Genocide Memorial in Gatsibo
A total of 771 youth participating in the 16th cohort of the Itorero Indangamirwa civic training program visited the Kiziguro Genocide Memorial in Gatsibo District on Wednesday morning, July 22, to deepen their understanding of Rwanda’s history.
The Kiziguro Genocide Memorial serves as the final resting place for more than 23,000 innocent victims and stands as one of the prominent memorial sites reflecting the extreme severity and brutality of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
