Israeli strike kills Palestinian, destroys mosque in Gaza
Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday, July 28, killed at least one Palestinian, wounded more than 12 people and destroyed a mosque and shelters for displaced civilians in Gaza, while settlers carried out separate attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli warplanes struck the Al-Muttaqin Mosque near the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) building in Gaza City.
In a separate strike, Israel killed one Palestinian in the Nuseirat refugee camp and wounded at least 20 others, according to Al Jazeera's reporter from Deir el-Balah.
Israel's security cabinet on Sunday, approved a measure that would, in theory, allow the first members of an International Stabilization Force to enter Gaza as part of the US-brokered "ceasefire" that began last October.
The Settler attacks continue in the occupied West Bank.
