Russian forces launched strikes targeting five fuel stations in Ukraine, killing at least four people, local officials reported.


Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Oleksandr Hanzha announced that the attacks took place overnight into July 1, initially killing one woman, before later confirming that the strikes claimed the lives of three additional individuals.

According to a report by Reuters, Russia has been targeting fuel infrastructure for several days, but the intensity of the strikes has escalated significantly.

Frontline officials in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions stated that their areas are now facing these bombardments on a daily basis.

Separately, in Kherson City, a Russian drone strike targeted a civilian passenger bus, leaving one person dead and five others injured.
