PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda recently conducted a Healing and Storytelling Training Session aimed at fostering personal and community healing through open dialogue and shared experiences.

The training brought participants together in a safe and supportive environment where they reflected on their life journeys, expressed emotions, and shared personal stories that contribute to healing and deeper understanding among community members.

During the session, participants explored how storytelling can serve as a powerful tool for healing, reconciliation, and strengthening relationships within communities.

Through guided discussions, reflective exercises, and group interactions, the training encouraged participants to listen with empathy, build trust, and appreciate the diverse experiences of others.

The initiative forms part of PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda’s ongoing efforts to promote peacebuilding, emotional wellbeing, and reconciliation. By equipping individuals with storytelling and dialogue skills, the organisation seeks to help communities transform painful experiences into narratives of resilience, hope, and positive change.
